A short analogy comparing protests like the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone and the Gaza Solidarity Encampment, both of which peacefully displaced policing from a physical space, to cavitation, which is a phenomenon in fluid dynamics. I then reflect a bit on how this analogy would project a slow victory for the anarchist cause. (Assumes working knowledge of anarchist thought.)
Some rambling on two concepts which inform how I think about home, community, and anti-authoritarian movements. The first is sort of the concept of livable or friendly spaces in hostile or unfamiliar places, and the second is the idea of religious poverty (which is quite distinct from material poorness).
